  • Her kindness and willingness to please you exhibits the display of the true temperament of a Labrador Retriever. Her pedigree is a tapestry of both Field Trial Champions as well as American & English Show Champions with Hunt test Titles. Her love to be a companion as well as her ability to know the difference when you pick up your shotgun to go hunting. She is an AKC Senior Hunter with advanced training. Cargo has had some service dog training when she attended elementary school with our grandchildren and has proven to have produced service and therapy dogs from her previous litters. Her great grand sire was a leading outside sire for CCI (Canine Companions for Independence) who produced many, many working service dogs.

  • An American Show Champion with English Import linage and sired by BISS & International Show Champion. He is one of few, if only, Labrador Retrievers that has obtained American and Candian Master Hunting Titles and NAHRA Master Hunting Title and Obedience Title. His temperament of kind and gentleness shows how willing he is to please and was all amateur trained by his owner as well and shown in the show ring to finish his Championship, his Master and NAHRA Master titles. Buddy is no longer living with us but is preserved by frozen semen, therefore allowing us to obtain this wonderful breeding to Cargo.

  • Bayside’s Blue Water Candy CDX (obedience title excellent) SH (Senior Hunter) ITD (International Therapy Dog) and currently works at St. Jude’s Hospital in San Francisco. Teaser is working on her Utility Dog training and were hopeful she’ll compete her U.D. Title but will be taking time out for this exceptional litter.

Her Labrador Dam “Presto” was a Master Hunter and Qualified for the Master National in 2008.

  • Flint was a special dog whose talent hasn't been matched here at Bayside Labs as yet.

    His incredible marking skills and stamina resulted in his obtaining his Field Trial Championship with 1 year of starting the training. Flint was a Master Hunter and went Junior, Senior and Master without ever failing a hunt test. I purchased Flint at 7 weeks and did all his basic training. He had a lot of power and desire to retrieve birds.

  • FLINT FC (Field Champion) Moonstones Ignites on Impact MH (Master Hunter) Incredible talent was packed into this dog. A strongly built 80 pound black male retriever. Passed Junior, Senior and Master Hunter without failing a single test and qualified for the Master National. He finished his Field Championship with 1 year while training at Rorem Retrievers, handled mostly by Ty Rorem. A pleasant house dog and loved his birds! Flints marking was extremely accurate.

Bayside Labs has been breeding Labrador Retrievers since the 1980’s.  We are a noted Breeder of Merit by AKC.  

All our breeding stock is OFA certified and DNA tested.

  Our Philosophy

At  Bayside Labs we pride ourselves in providing a clean, healthy, safe and educational environment in which to raise a Labrador puppy.  Stimulation in the environment, teach the Labrador pups how to think and learn to navigate. It is our belief that Labrador Puppies need to be exposed to things that they will encounter in their future working career between 5 weeks and 16 weeks of age. This type of socializing offers our Labrador Puppies a huge benefit.

It is our belief that genetic health clearances and temperament soundness are of great importance. Our breeding stock is screened for OFA (hip & elbow), CAER/PRA (eye) and CARDIAC (heart) disease, EIC (exercise induced collapse) and CNM (Centronuclear Myopathy) and D-Locus (dilute gene, no silver) Copper Toxicosis A & B and many more. We strive to produce soundness and good temperaments in our breeding program and support our commitment with a written guarantee of the sire and dam’s clearances. All of our breeding stock is proven to be a worthy working Labrador by obtaining an AKC TITLE prior to breeding.  Bayside litters are responsibly planned, carefully selected; therefore, they are limited.
